His office hours are between 10am and 12pm and between 2pm and 4pm week days and I have found that he is reachable during these hours. He does not have the staff available to offer the type of support or service that would be considered 'normal' but this is the trade off for getting a heli at half of what everyone else charges. In my opinion he is NOT a scam artist but just a guy trying to get his business going. Prior to this I did have some difficulty reaching him but I persisted and eventually got my problem solved. I met with Patrick to resolve some issues with my Discovery and he helped me with all of it and even took the time to give me some flying tips. Today I drove down to the Rotor Concept office and I have to say that it was a good experience. I got similar capabilities to the DJI for about half the price. I was also drawn to the Rotor Concept discovery as a first UAV because of the price. Hello everyone, I'm new to this group and also new to drone flying. They have a model at their booth and it looks like it works well to me (I'm a newb) but I'm a little nervous about spending this kind of money on a product I can't research. Wondering if anyone here knows anything about the company or has any experience with this quad. The quad also has GPS hold and return to home like the DJI.Ī Google search didn't turn up any information about this model but I did find some information about an earlier quad from this company. They also have a motor gimbal on sale so I'm considering that too. Camera is not included but that is well below what you can get a similarly equipped DJI for.

I'm at CES right now and there is an exhibitor called Rotor Concept who has a quad that seems to be a solid DJI Phantom 2 competitor but at a lower cost. I've had my eye on a DJI for a while but haven't pulled the trigger because of the cost to get one equipped the way I want it. Hello!
